For readers who have enjoyed the timeless writing of Grace Livingston Hill, these beautiful reprints have updated covers and larger, easy to read print.  The size of the print in this particular book was almost a "large print", which makes it very comfortable to read.

Originally published in 1925, Ariel Custer is the story of a young woman who must look out for herself after her father passes away.  She arrives in Philadelphia to take a job as a librarian, only to find upon her arrival that some plans have changed. 

I find it amazing that these stories have been passed down for so many generations, kind of like Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, etc. 


Grace Livingston Hill is known for her old fashioned, Christian based themes with plenty of values, morals and Christian references.  I would highly recommend her books for those readers in search of squeaky clean novels.
